Bottlesnose Dolphins are the most abundant and widest ranging dolphins in the world. They are the most common dolphins held in captivity. While they can be trained well, in the wild they are not the most playful and friendly. Spotted dolphins in the wild are much more playful and friendly.
The Bottlenose Dolphins of the Little Bahama Bank number more than the Spotted Dolphins and we often see them. Some of the individuals we see do enjoy the company of humans but most will just swim by for a look. Occasionally we stop and swim with them and hope to encounter the friendly individuals. At times we get to observe them feeding in the sand.

The Bottlenose Dolphins live in the same area as the Spotted Dolphin. They do interact with each other at times, sometimes playfully and other times aggressively.

While on a dolphin trip you can expect to see these dolphins and get to snorkel with them.
